Ordering and delivery

Do I pay shipping costs?

We ship for free in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria and Luxembourg.

How can I pay?

We like to make paying for your order as easy as possible for you. You can complete your order safely using the following payment options:

  • iDeal, KBC, Bancontact etc.: via your bank's familiar online payment environment.
  • Klarna pay later: with Klarna you pay afterwards after placing your order.
  • PayPal: with the convenience of your PayPal account.
  • Credit card: with your credit card.
  • Apple Pay: this option appears when your order is placed on an Apple device.

Can I pay afterwards?

You can also pay with Klarna. This makes ordering easy and allows you to pay up to 30 days later. If you return part or all of your order within the payment period, your invoice will automatically be adjusted on Klarna.

Tip: some questions are best asked directly to Klarna. For example, if Klarna does not accept your details or if you want to postpone your payment. Click here to contact Klarna.

How will my product be delivered?

Your order will be delivered by us or by an external carrier on behalf of Bopita. The articles you ordered will be carefully packed and delivered unassembled to the first door of your delivery address on the agreed date. It is possible that a part of your order will be delivered via one or more transport partners.

When will my order be delivered?

We or our shipping partner will schedule your shipment for delivery within the specified delivery time after receiving your payment. You will receive an e-mail with a proposal for delivery within a few days. Should one or more items in your order be out of stock, we will notify you by e-mail or phone as soon as the order is completely available. 

Can I also have my order delivered in the evening?

No, we deliver exclusively on working days between 8.00 and 18.00.

Can I choose a delivery date?

Unfortunately, this is not possible via our webshop. Within a few days you will receive an e-mail from our delivery service inviting you to make an online delivery appointment.

Do you also deliver abroad?

We deliver webshop orders in Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

I want to have my order delivered to one of the Wadden Islands. Is that possible?

Yes, you can. We do not charge a surcharge for the Dutch Wadden Islands. It is not possible to deliver to the German Wadden Islands.

Can I collect my order in a Bopita shop?

Pick up items directly

A selection of items can be picked up with a pick up discount directly at our Bopita store, Industrieweg Oost 7, 6662 NE, Elst Gelderland, The Netherlands. There is no need to order or reserve these items online, they are in stock in our Bopita store. The selection of items that can be taken away immediately can be found here.

Pick up webshop orders

It is possible to pick up your web order, by appointment, at the Bopita store, Industrieweg Oost 7, 6662 NE, Elst Gelderland, Netherlands. You will only then receive a pick up discount on our own brand items (Bopita, ToiToiKids and CocoMilou). We do not offer a collection discount on all other items through our sales partners. In the ordering process, choose "Pick up". The discount will become visible and you can complete your order. We offer this service only in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

You will be called as soon as your order is ready at the Bopita store in Elst. From that moment you have 14 days to pick up this order upon presentation of the order confirmation. If one or more products from your order are not in stock you will receive a message as soon as all products are ready at the Bopita store. If you have chosen pickup and the order is completed, it is no longer possible to have your order delivered to your home.

Please note: it is not possible to pick up an order before you have received notice from us that the order is ready. It is not possible to pick up an order anywhere else than the Bopita store in Elst. You are yourself responsible for loading your order damage-free.

A product is not in stock, can I order it anyway?

If an item is out of stock, the expected delivery week is stated with the item concerned. You can still order the article. The order will be delivered as soon as it is complete.

My delivered order is incomplete. What do I do now?

If you have noticed that a part or item is missing from your order, we kindly ask you to fill in the digital service form on this website under "Assistance and contact". Your request will be dealt with as quickly as possible, at the latest within 5 working days, and you will be notified by e-mail or telephone.

Returning and exchanging

How do I return my order?

You can return an article that is not to your satisfaction within 2 weeks. In that case, fill in the digital service form on this website under "Assistance and contact". We ask that you handle the items and packaging with care. You will then receive a message from us within 5 working days by mail or phone with a return number. If the product is too big or too heavy to send to us, we offer you the possibility to have it picked up at your home for a fee. Please mention this in the digital service form. We will collect the items in consultation with you. We will inform you of the costs in advance.

After you have indicated that you wish to return your item, you must send it back within 14 days. Bopita only accepts returns under the condition that these items are unused, undamaged, in their original condition and (if reasonably possible) in their original packaging. If products are returned damaged, we reserve the right to charge compensation costs.

How long does it take for my payment to be refunded?

When returning an item, we will check the item upon receipt. Immediately after inspection and approval, we will refund the purchase price of the returned item via your previously chosen payment method.

Are there any costs associated with the return?

Yes, shipping costs via regular courier for returning the item. If the product is too big or heavy to send, we offer you the option of having it collected from your home for a fee. In that case, please complete the digital service form on this website. You will then receive a reply from us within 5 working days to collect the items. We will communicate the costs of picking up the return goods in advance.

If we have not received the product(s) in good condition (e.g. if we have received a damaged or incomplete product or packaging), you will receive a partial refund from us. This means that you will receive 70% of the original purchase amount minus the costs of return collection from us.

If you bought an item from sales partner Vipack and/or Jaxx, returning is also possible, no later than 14 days after delivery of the item. We will then credit the purchase amount minus 30% of the order value for return collection. If the product is not received in good condition (e.g. in case of a damaged or incomplete product or packaging), you will receive a partial refund from us. This means that, in most cases, you will receive 70% of the original purchase amount minus the cost of return collection from us.

Can I always return all items?

Yes, if a product purchased through this webshop is not according to your satisfaction, you have the right to cancel and return the item(s) within 2 weeks and without giving reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took delivery of the final goods. You can notify your cancellation by sending an email to [email protected].

If the goods have already been delivered in whole or in part, cancellation is no longer possible. Returns are possible within 14 days of the order date, however, the delivered packages cannot be returned free of charge.

How can I return an old and similar piece of furniture when delivering a new one?

Ordering service parts

Can I order a part of a product?

Certain spare parts for Bopita articles can be reordered. Single playpen parts can be found here, single bed parts here. If the part you require is not listed, please complete and submit the digital service form on this website to request the part in question.

I cannot find a service part in the webshop. How do I know I can still order this part?

You can submit your query regarding a desired service item via the digital service form on this website. Please do not forget to attach a picture of the item so that we can identify the Bopita furniture in question. We will then be able to give you the right advice on a solution.

Service and warranty

How long do I have warranty on a product?

We give a 5-year warranty on manufacturing defects. Some products have different warranty periods, such as mattresses and some furniture. Would you like to know how long your warranty lasts for a particular product? Check the applicable warranty for the relevant item on the product page on this website. Damage caused by non-normal use, careless handling or wear and tear is not covered. Each guarantee request will be evaluated by our service department in accordance with the requirements of reasonableness and fairness. You can submit your warranty request via our digital service form on this website. Please note that we only process fully completed service forms including the requested attachments such as digital photos of the article concerned and the purchase receipt.

My product is defective. What should I do?

If you ordered the Bopita product on our website, please complete the digital service form on this website in full and return it to us with the requested attachments. We will then process your request as quickly as possible.

I have lost my assembly instructions. Can I get them somewhere?

Assembly instructions are enclosed with every Bopita article. If you have lost it, you can search our webshop by entering the article code or article name of your Bopita article (only for articles in our current collection). You will find the assembly instructions for the item concerned and you can then download them. If the item is no longer in our current collection, please fill out the service form.

I want to convert my system bed into a loft bed. Is this possible?

Yes, that is possible. If you have a system bed, such as Nordic or Combiflex, this can be converted into a high sleeper or bunk bed, for example. To convert your bed, you need spare parts. The individual parts for Combiflex can be found here, for Nordic here. Download the instructions and order the parts you need to convert your bed.

What is the build-through guarantee for bed systems at Bopita?

Bopita offers a 7-year construction warranty. When you buy a bed from one of the Bopita bed systems, you buy a flexible bed system. You can build and change it as you wish. If a product is no longer in our range, our build-on guarantee guarantees you the possibility to reorder bed parts up to 7 years from the day the product is no longer in our collection.

What is the formaldehyde content of the MDF used in Bopita furniture?

All MDF used in our furniture is of class E05. This class of MDF has been found safe according to the European standards for use in children's furniture.

Can I request high-resolution images of your products?

You can mail your requests for high resolution images to the PR & Marketing department of Bopita: [email protected]. Please also let us know in the e-mail what you would like to use the images for.

My child bites the edge of the bed. Is this dangerous to their health?

No, there is no danger of that with Bopita furniture, as it is all coated with a water-based child-safe varnish or wash. It is therefore 100% safe and not harmful to health. However, you can contact your midwife's office for advice on your child's need to chew and teething. They can provide you with alternatives that will help your child with teething and unlearn bite behaviour in furniture.

Is it possible to set up a collaboration, such as a product review, blog post or campaign?
