A crib can be used from about 0 to 2 years. When the baby is born you put the bottom of the crib in the highest position. This way you can easily reach your baby and keep good contact. As soon as your little one can stand, often around 6 months, you put the bottom of the cot in the lowest position. For safety reasons, it is important to lower the bottom of the cot in time, otherwise the little one may fall out. With a crib you need a baby mattress. All our cribs have a marking in the headboard so you can see to what height the mattress may come.

A crib of 60 x 120 cm or one of 70 x 140 cm?

Almost all of our baby room series also have a 70 x 140 cm cot in the assortment. A 70 x 140 cm baby bed from Bopita is easy to convert to a sofa bed. You will have many years of pleasure from a 70 x 140 cm baby bed. The bed build up first as an extra large crib, also called a cotbed. Has your little one grown so much that it can get in and out of the bed by itself? Then you build the cotbed to a toddler bed. One side of the bed has a low side, so your little one can get in and out of the cot bed independently. A big advantage is that the transition to a large bed is not so huge.

Home beds

Do you want something different than a crib? In our collection you will also find home beds. The frame in the shape of a house gives a secure feeling. Your little baby will sleep wonderfully. Not only can our cots be used as beds. They can also be converted into a sofa bed! The crib can therefore be used for longer. Also handy, one mattress is enough! The size of the bed does not change. Do not forget to order a child's mattress.
